If you are having a problem someone will see your post there and help you along. We do have a couple threads for everyday chatting. However, we would very much like to chat with you. There is no pressure in this group to read a book, or to post a comment. You can join in reading one book, or two or all three or if they are not to your liking, skip that month. We often do polls on books, authors, and other topics.
The basis of our group is the three book categories presented each month, of which the membership has a hand in deciding. And lastly, we strictly forbid any talk of self-promotion - be it books, blogs or any other type of personal writing. The only exception to that is the "Buddy Read", but please read that threads instructions before proceeding. New threads must be passed by the Moderator before posting. This is a very friendly group and we will not allow condescending or mean remarks. We have tried talking about politics and it only led to hurt feelings, therefore no politics can be discussed.
